How are you doing?

If your PhD to-do list feels overwhelming, your workflow keeps slipping, or your motivation is flagging, this session could help!

In advance of the launch of the Autumn 2025 PhD 12 Week Sprint programme in September, I will be running an information evening on Tuesday 26th August at 7.30-8.30pm BST.  We’ll explore the principles of the 12 Week Year (Lennington & Moran) and how I’ve adapted them to the challenges of the PhD journey. You’ll see how this method can help you:

  • Plan with clarity – without drowning in a year-long to-do list
  • Stay on track without relying on endless willpower
  • Build momentum in a focused, sustainable way

This approach has been especially helpful for neurodivergent scholars because it breaks big, intimidating goals into small, achievable actions, provides built-in flexibility, and reduces overwhelm.

Whether you’re just getting started on your PhD; are stuck in the ‘messy middle’; or are in the final phases this could help you take control of your thesis.

The session will include the opportunity to ask questions — both of me and programme ‘alumni’ who can outline the benefits that they have gained from applying the system.

There will be a replay for those who cannot attend live. Just sign up via Eventbrite and you’ll be added to the mailing list.

If you would like to chat 1 to 1 about whether the programme  is a good fit for you, please do let me know.

Cheering you on!

Emma
