Have you made the progress you had hoped to with your PhD this summer?
Are you already thinking about how to regain focus and momentum this September?
If so, you’re not alone!
I often find summer leaves me feeling a little ‘untethered’ and I look forward to September when I can finally land and find my rhythm again.
This is one of the reasons I love running the PhD 12 Week Sprint each autumn. This year will be the seventh cohort, running from the Equinox to the Winter Solstice.
The Sprint is designed to support doctoral researchers to create focus, build momentum and make meaningful progress with their PhDs over 12 weeks.
If you would like to find out more I’m hosting a free online information evening on Thursday 3 September 2026, 8–9pm BST (there will be a replay for those who cannot make it ‘live’).
I’ll talk through:
• the principles behind the 12 Week Sprint
• how I’ve adapted Moran and Lennington’s The 12 Week Year approach for doctoral researchers
• how the programme works in practice
• what you can expect from the 12 weeks
I’ll also be joined by programme alumni who will share their experiences and answer your questions.
